2026 Open House & 2027 Enrollment Marketing Campaign
From Awareness to Enrollment: Building an Integrated Recruitment Campaign for
Bishop Fenwick High School
The Challenge:
Bishop Fenwick High School wanted to strengthen its recruitment pipeline and increase enrollment for the incoming Class of 2030. The campaign needed to reach prospective families - particularly 8th-grade families and transfer students - while increasing awareness and engagement across the communities most likely to contribute to future enrollment growth.
The goal was more than generating awareness. The campaign needed to create multiple opportunities for families to take the next step, from discovering Bishop Fenwick to attending an Open House, scheduling a private tour, scheduling their HSPT, and ultimately enrolling.
The Strategy:
Developed an integrated recruitment campaign combining digital, traditional, direct, and community marketing.
Targeted five ZIP codes identified for the strongest projected growth over the next five years.
Launched a 25,000-piece direct mail campaign focused on prospective families in those communities.
Used paid and organic social media to reach 8th-grade families and transfer students.
Expanded community outreach through targeted parish bulletins, Facebook groups, and private tour invitations.
Extended reach through billboards, Catholic Telegraph, and Cincinnati Children's Theatre advertising.
Created campaign photography used across the campaign and featured in the Archdiocese's 2025-20266 Catholic high school guide.
The Results:
Incoming enrollment increased from 104 to 124 students - a 19.2% year-over-year increase.
20 additional students enrolled in the Class of 2030, including transfers to additional grade levels.
At $12,400 per student, the increase represents $248,000 in additional first-year tuition value.
The $50,000 campaign investment reached prospective families through digital, traditional, direct mail, social, and community outreach.
25,000 targeted postcards were mailed to five high-growth ZIP codes based on census growth data.
The campaign photography was also featured in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati's 2026 Catholic high school magazine.
The Impact:
The campaign created a coordinated recruitment strategy that connected targeted audiences, creative storytelling, traditional media, digital marketing, direct outreach, and community engagement around one objective: growing enrollment. Rather than relying on a single channel, Bishop Fenwick established multiple touch points throughout the prospective-family journey - building awareness, encouraging engagement, and creating opportunities for families to take action.
The result: stronger enrollment growth and a marketing strategy built to support the school's long-term recruitment goals.
